Once an order has been placed on Sofia Lenore’s website, I will be in contact via email to request reference images. The orientation of the final painting (vertical or horizontal) is dependent on the reference images of the location being painted and/or the request of the client. If you have specific inclusions/exclusions or changes you want to see from the reference photos, please email those along with the reference photos. A sketch will be made first, and will be sent to a client for review and approval before painting. If you have any edits or requests for changes to the sketch, they can be made at this stage.

Sofia Lenore Watercolors offers the chance to frame and matte your original painting through our Partners at Framebridge. We offer 5 classic frame colors all with a white matte.

Each watercolor painting is a standard frame size.

• 5” x 7” becomes 11.75” x 13.75”

• 8”x10” becomes14.25” x 16.25”

• 11” x 14” becomes 18.25” x 21.25”

• 12”x16” becomes 18.75” x 22.75”

SHIPPING

Please remember that each piece is hand done. Depending on my current work queue, turnaround time can be up to 3 weeks before shipping.
Without frame: Your painting will be shipped directly from the Sofia Lenore Watercolors office in a clear archival bag with a backing board.

With frame: Your finished painting will be shipped first to our partners at Framebridge for framing, and their process takes up to 10 days (especially around major gift giving holidays). Framebridge will then ship the finished product directly to you. Please feel free to reach out via email if you require your painting by a certain date!

RETURN POLICY

Sofia Lenore does not offer refunds for bespoke, original commissions.  

In the instance that a pre-made product is damaged during shipping or does not arrive, the client has 30 days to reach out to Sofia Lenore with details of the damage. Please reach out to sofialenorewatercolors@gmail.com after package arrival to discuss next steps.
